Ruthie and Harrison, the truly iconic couple, married in March of 2024, at The Ritz-Carlton St. Louis.

The wedding had so many incredible moments, putting it all together in film was nearly impossible without constantly shedding a tear. Seeing these two families come together was a blessing.

- Ruthie's father Mike mentions "What a Wonderful World" in his toast, one of the songs played by Rosewood Ensemble for the processional. I added a quick nod to this with a shot of a Louis Armstrong record in the opening sequence.

- Good food was an overall theme of the event. Ruthie's mother Debbie, elevated the reception by providing each table with her world famous challah. I snuck a piece, absolutely delicious.
- The TikTok sequence celebrating Ruthie and Harrison's engagement took place in Miami. Two drone shots of the Miami skyline I filmed earlier in the year were added to help establish the scene. ​

- The second song in the film is called "Home", which ties into the rehearsal dinner toast: "Her friendship is for us and for so many, home".
